Meridian Homestay Services has specialised in Study Tours for many years.

Study Tour Groups from around the world are welcomed by Meridian Homestay Services to participate in Homestay, study and cultural visits to Sydney. These Study Tour Group Programs enable International Students to develop greater appreciation and understanding of the different aspects of Australian culture and beliefs.

A Study Tour is an opportunity for International Students to visit Sydney. The program combines English lessons with visits to interesting places in and around Sydney, to meet people, practice speaking English and see popular Australian icons. Study Tours allow groups of overseas students to study, play and live with a Meridian Homestay Host family.

Meridian Homestay Services has had over 20 years experience in coordinating Study Tour Programs on behalf of Universities, Colleges, Schools and Education Agents. Meridian Homestay Services has accommodated individuals and groups from overseas Schools, Colleges and Universities with age’s ranging from 10 years old to 60 year old. Study Tour Groups usually consist of 10-50 students. Students under 18 years of age require an adult accompanying the Study Tour Group.

Meridian Homestay Services has accommodated Study Tour Groups from a minimum of 10 students through to 70 individuals.

The length of a Study Tour Group is a minimum of one week; the minimum group size is 10 or more.

While studying, the Study Tour Group will be accommodated in Homestay, which means they live with a local family. This enables the group to practice English while enjoying life in an Australian home. In that time, students learn together, spend their free time together, enjoy Homestay and even tour together.

Meridian Homestay Services can organise the transfers from the Airport to Homestay and return to Airport if requested.

Costing

A quote will be provided when full details and requirements including numbers of the Study Tour are known.

Meridian Homestay Services cost Study Tours to ensure sufficient funds for:

  • Competitive Placement Fee for 10 or more students
  • Weekly Homestay Fees
  • Single or Twinshare Homestay options
  • Airport transfer - pickup and return by coach
  • Host pickup on arrival and return from the Institute where the group is studying
  • Interpreter services (if required)
  • Organising Tours & sightseeing requirements
  • Welcome Orientation Kit for each student
  • Orientation Presentation (if required)

Cancellation Policy

Placement Fees – Non Refundable

Cancellations occurring 2 to 4 weeks prior to the scheduled commencement of a Study Tour will result in the loss of 1 Weekly Homestay Fee per participant. Cancellations occurring less than 2 weeks from the scheduled commencement of your Study Tour will result in the loss of 2 Weekly Homestay Fees per participant.
